The objective of my research is to integrate advanced computational methods with synthetic organic chemistry towards the design and development of novel agents to treat drug-resistant bacterial infections, anti-cancer agents, and insulin resistance disorders, such as diabetes, obesity, and polycystic ovarian syndrome and the development of new synthetic methods towards the synthesis of novel heterocycles.
