My research focuses on developing novel treatment strategies for neurodegenerative diseases, including amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and Alzheimer’s disease (AD), within the lab of Dr. Timothy Miller. We primarily use RNA-targeted strategies that reduce or modify toxic proteins to probe disease mechanisms and test their therapeutic potential. Working with Dr. Miller, I have become an expert in drug design, delivery, and application and in vivo approaches to understand dementias and other neurodegenerative disorders.
