My area of interest is the connection between neuro-oncology and neurodegeneration, specifically focusing on understanding the cellular and molecular processes that underlie brain cancer, particularly glioblastoma, and other degenerative brain disorders. I am fascinated by the intricate interactions among biological pathways, genetic alterations, and the tumor microenvironment that lead to glioblastoma’s aggressiveness and resistance to standard treatments. My goal in exploring these complex biological processes is to find important molecular targets that can guide the creation of innovative treatment approaches. My ultimate objective is to create multidisciplinary partnerships that bring together researchers, clinicians, and industrial partners by bridging the gap between translational medicine and neuroscience. I want to help create a future where patients with glioblastoma and neurodegenerative diseases have better results and a higher quality of life due to ground-breaking discoveries in research and treatment by bringing together a variety of viewpoints and utilizing the latest advances in technology.
