My area of clinical and research interest primarily focuses on biomarkers for assessing recovery from mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI). I am particularly interested in understanding the pathophysiology of mTBI and developing reliable biomarkers that can predict recovery trajectories and outcomes. This includes exploring both biochemical and imaging biomarkers to improve diagnostic accuracy, monitor recovery progress, and guide treatment strategies. Additionally, I am interested in integrating these biomarkers into clinical practice to enhance patient care and outcomes. My work involves both clinical and translational research, aiming to bridge the gap between laboratory findings and practical applications in clinical settings.
