(1) Global mental health research, specifically the relationship between historical trauma and mass violence/atrocity on public and mental health outcomes and disparities, as well as cultural models of and approaches to intergenerational healing and recovery; (2) Mental health crisis care research, centering lived experiences of consumers, loved ones, and providers to understand the impact of services and encounters, and improve the quality of crisis care systems and approaches; (3) Community-based participatory research, including system dynamics, and integrated methods.
