Mai-Lan Ho, MD, is an accomplished neuroradiology physician-scientist and leader with clinical expertise in advanced neuroimaging techniques and genotype-phenotype correlation for complex diseases. Her research involves radiologic technology development, quantitative image analysis and artificial intelligence. Dr. Ho’s research program involves translational advanced imaging implementation by applying expertise in medical physics, computer vision and data science to clinical practice. As PI/co-I on several federal, foundation, and industry awards, she has built integrated teams of imaging physicists, referring physicians, radiologists and data scientists to accelerate bench-to-bedside translation. In her leadership roles, Dr. Ho has created funded infrastructure for imaging investigators supporting task-based and resting-state functional MRI, advanced diffusion, perfusion, elastography, fingerprinting, spectroscopy, vessel wall imaging, ultrashort-echo time, advanced visualization, and artificial intelligence.
