My research focuses on developing self-calibrated, wearable devices for real-time vital sign monitoring using edge computing. By integrating multiple photoplethysmogram (PPG) sensors with embedded Bayesian optimization, my work addresses critical limitations of current wearables—namely, poor signal quality, dependence on cloud services, and privacy concerns. The system enables accurate, on-device measurement of heart rate, respiratory rate, and blood pressure, even in individuals with diverse skin tones. My broader interest lies in advancing personalized and proactive healthcare through intelligent biomedical sensing technologies, with applications in early disease detection, cardiovascular health monitoring, and secure remote patient care.
