I study uveal melanoma, a highly aggressive form of eye cancer. We study uveal melanoma initiation, progression, and metastasis using cell lines, animal models, and primary tumor samples. Our research focuses on signaling pathways involved in oncogenesis, cell growth, cell survival, and cell motility. We use cell biology, biochemical and multi-omics approaches to identify potential therapeutic targets for the treatment of metastatic uveal melanoma.
