Our lab investigates how biological aging increases vulnerability to Alzheimer’s disease and other neurodegenerative disorders. We combine mechanistic studies in cell culture, mouse models, and early-stage clinical trials with cutting-edge spatial proteogenomic analyses of postmortem human brain tissue. By integrating exploratory and hypothesis-driven approaches across experimental systems, we aim to identify molecular pathways linking aging to neurodegeneration and to develop translational strategies for prevention and therapy.
