My research and clinical interests are deeply rooted in the study of autoimmune diseases, particularly those associated with the HLA-B27 genotype, such as ankylosing spondylitis. My work seeks to unravel the complex interplay between genetic predispositions and immune responses that leads to the manifestation and progression of these conditions. Additionally, I am invested in investigating the susceptibility to infections in patients with vasculitis, aiming to improve both preventive strategies and treatment protocols.
