My research focuses on using large multimodal datasets, including MRI, genetics, and sociodemographic factors, to design AI models that predict disease outcomes across conditions such as brain tumors, epilepsy, stroke, HIV, Alzheimer’s disease, and Down syndrome. A major aim of my work is to advance these models toward practical clinical use, where they can help support diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment planning. By integrating imaging, genetic data, and social determinants of health, my work seeks to capture the full range of factors that shape clinical outcomes. My long-term goal is to support individualized medicine by developing models that reflect both biological characteristics and individual differences seen in real clinical settings.
