My initial work was focused on Arrhythmogenic Right Ventricular Cardiomyopathy (ARVC). Initial work was in collaboration with Dr. Hugh Calkins at Johns Hopkins University followed by work on mice which involved tissue characterization and arrhythmia recording in mice subjected to exercise compared to sedentary mutant and non-mutant ARVC mice. This was done in collaboration with Dr. Jeffrey A. Towbin at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. After completing my cardiac electrophysiology fellowship my research has been focused on ventricular and atria arrhythmias (treatment and pathogenesis). My recent publications describe newer diagnostic criteria, physiological observations and outcomes of ventricular ablation. Currently Iam focused on Autonomics and arrhythmias.
