My research interests are 1) to characterize clients’ motivation toward functional improvement during rehabilitation and its impact on participation in daily occupations among older adults with cognitive impairments, and 2) to establish the role of environmental factors in enabling older adults to fully participate in daily occupations and live independently post-rehabilitation.
Specifically, I am interested in investigating relationships among motivation, emotional symptoms (depression, loneliness, apathy), and cognition.
