My research focuses on leveraging in-vivo human positron emission tomography (PET) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), alongside advanced image processing and computational techniques, to delve into the biological mechanisms underlying normal aging and neurodegenerative disorders, notably Alzheimer’s disease (AD) and AD-related dementias (ADRD). I am particularly intrigued by the integration of artificial intelligence methodologies into neuroradiology research, aiming to address technical hurdles in brain imaging and construct predictive models for the progression of neurodegenerative diseases.
