Dr Lin’s research interests center around the role of health information technology (HIT), health information exchange, and payment reform in facilitating care coordination and management. To date, her work has assessed the impact of alternative payment models and HIT on care coordination, quality of care networks, and the patient experience. She is currently researching how payment reform and information systems can be leveraged to promote health equity through improved care coordination and management.
