My work focuses on improving how we design and test vaccines by making preclinical models more reflective of real-world conditions. I’m especially interested in how factors like aging, nutrition, the microbiome, and environmental exposure shape immune responses—particularly in vulnerable groups such as the elderly, malnourished, and those in low-resource settings. By combining tools from immunology, microbiome research, and systems biology, I aim to build better predictive models that help guide vaccine strategies with greater accuracy and impact.
