I have a background in human physiology, pharmacology, and bone biology. My current research focuses on developing miRNA-based therapies for trauma-induced heterotopic ossification. Using both viral and non-viral RNA delivery platforms, I investigate how specific microRNAs regulate the cellular and molecular pathways that drive aberrant bone formation in injured soft tissues.
