My research focuses on community-engaged and translational public health approaches to improving health equity among underserved and immigrant populations. My areas of interest include chronic disease prevention, health communication, social determinants of health, and culturally responsive health promotion among Southeast Asian communities. I have experience conducting mixed-methods research, systematic reviews, secondary data analysis, and community-based health research. I am particularly interested in developing future research that examines how migration, culture, health behaviors, and access to care shape chronic disease risks among immigrant and Southeast Asian populations in the St. Louis region and beyond.
