My research focuses on community-engaged and translational public health approaches to improving health equity among underserved and immigrant populations. My areas of interest include food acculturation, chronic disease prevention, health communication, social determinants of health, and culturally responsive health promotion among Southeast Asian communities. I have experience conducting mixed-methods research, systematic reviews, secondary data analysis, and community-based health research. My current work explores the relationship between food acculturation and chronic disease risk among immigrant populations in the St. Louis region to support culturally appropriate interventions and community partnerships.
