My lab studies how neuropeptides control hypothalamic and brain stem function with particular interest in the integration metabolic and cardiovascular function. We conduct bioinformatic and molecular approaches to match orphan G protein coupled receptors with their endogenous ligands, using pancreas and CNS as tissue models.
