My work is grounded in novel integration and application of collaborative precision medicine program in nephrology and transplantation practice using novel genetic tools and biomarkers. Underlying themes of my research to date have included efforts to advance understanding of: 1) the clinical implementation of genetic tools in Nephrology and Transplantation practice, 2) health outcomes in kidney transplant recipients and donors and 3) biomarkers in kidney transplantation and glomerulonephritis. As the physician who oversees the medical evaluation of kidney disease patients and transplant recipients, I developed a dedication to improving the use of genetic tools and interpretation of genetic results in Nephrology clinical practice.
