My research focuses on the intersection of hematology, leukemia, and cardiovascular disease, aiming to develop treatment of both diseases. By leveraging large datasets of medical records, imaging, multi-omics analysis, genetic mouse models and clinical patient samples, I explore potential disease targets and evaluate/develop potential therapies. My recent work includes identifing a new therapy to treat both leukemia and reduce chemotherapy-induced cardiotoxicity. I am also exploring the interaction between clonal hematopoiesis, leukemia, and cardiovascular diseases. Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, my goal is to bridge the gap between advanced technology, bench-work basic science, and practical healthcare applications, ultimately contributing to a more effective healthcare strategies.
