The Research Development Program provides practical and analytical support for investigators to enhance and accelerate the quality and impact of their clinical and translational science research.

The RDP offers five resources and services for investigators who are members of the ICTS:

Research Navigation provides personalized consultation to advise ICTS members about available resources (ICTS Cores, educational options, and funding).

Research Forum Program provides interactive feedback from experts and specialists to guide and strengthen project development and grant proposal applications. This interactive review format allows investigators to directly ask questions of the review team in a closed session.

Scientific Editing Service works with investigators to strengthen and clarify their extramural grant applications, journal manuscripts, clinical trial reports and clinical study updates  (supported by the ICTS and the Department of Medicine).

NIH Mock Study Section assembles expert panels to review clinical and translational R, K, and F series grants. Applications are reviewed and scored using methods that a real study section review. Applicants and observers are welcome to watch the reviews.

WUSTL Grants Library is a centralized repository with examples of successful NIH, NSF, DoD, foundation, industry, and institutional grants. The library also contains examples of Data Management and Sharing Plans and standard language/templates for Biosketches and other grant proposal components.
