Congratulations to PROUD-MED Scholar Jonathan Williams, MD (Neurology) on his recent feasibility and efficacy award from the Southeast MMC Hub!
The award, supported through Meharry Medical College, is based on the Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Consortium to Advance Health Equity and Researcher Diversity (AiM-AHEAD) program.
In this one year project, Dr. Williams will evaluate a culturally sensitive AI/ML pipeline designed to mitigate health disparities by improving access to epilepsy specialists and care among a diverse cohort of underserved high-minority patients with epilepsy in the St. Louis region.
